The National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine have published a new study which provides several facts and recommendations to address the extremely high rate of fatalities due to alcohol-impaired driving. Major recommendations include States reducing BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) limits to 0.05 from 0.08 and to reduce alcohol outlet density.

Even without the studies, we all know that too much intake of alcohol can be fatal, that's why we should never make it as a habit. I know a lot of people who suffered a lot of from alcohol's consequences! I am glad to know that The National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine even made a study about it. It is about time for people to be more aware of what are the dangers that are connected with alcohol and our irresponsible actions.
