The acquisition of Madison's Stop-N-Go stores by the LaCrosse-based chain Kwik Trip includes the location in the SASY neighborhood on Winnebago St.  Stop-N-Go had its share of problems, but the location provided a post office and laundromat. Kwik Trip has announced they do not intend to keep the post office, and they also intend to expand into the laundromat,  They also will not sell condoms (this is a strange requirement of all Kwik Trip stores). The chain needs to apply for a new license at the location, which is less than a mile from another location on North 3rd St. at Packers Ave. Both locations are less than half a mile from East High School. In addition to the abundance of locations selling beer, cider and cigarettes on the near east side, these locations will also cater to young people.  If you are interested in commenting either in person or sending a letter in advance, you can find the instructions below.
